Ε.Δ.Ω. Mosaic Workshop

We are delighted to announce that Stelios Alexakis will be teaching Mosaic @ Ε.Δ.Ω.

During this course you will explore mosaic as a pictorial medium that examines contemporary subjects and ideas.

Each student will create a piece of mosaic of 25 x 25 cm.

Stelios Alexakis is a painter based in Athens, with numerous solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

In part of his personal work, he explores the use of mosaic in a contemporary context.

NOTE:

• All workshops have 6-week duration and are composed by 3-hour classes.
• Detailed workshop dates to be released by the end of September.
• All workshops are project-based. Project title is to be revealed on first class.
• All Classes are to be held on the same day every week, unless coinciding with holidays, from 18:00 to 21:00 hrs.
• Maximum number of participants: 15
• All participants´ final works are presented at an exhibition, organised every 6 months at Ε.Δ.Ω.
• No particular skills are necessary, should you wish to attend to a workshop, unless stated otherwise.
• All necessary tools and materials are provided by Ε.Δ.Ω.
• Workshop fee is 200€.
• Fee is prepaid upon reservation of participants.
