PHOTOGRAPHY: THE PINHOLE CAMERA

In this workshop, participants will acquire hands on experience with
the fascinating properties of light.
During the first meetings, each participant will make his own pinhole
camera from scratch, and get familiar with its operation. Once the cameras
are functional, participants will experiment with them and
complete small photo assignments using 35mm film of their choice.

The workshop will end with the creation of a room-size camera obscura.

All levels of photographic experience welcome.

• All workshops have 6-week duration and are composed by weekly classes, unless stated otherwise.
• All workshops are project-based.
• All Classes are to be held on the same day every week, starting at 18:00hrs.
• All participants´ final works are presented at an exhibition, organised yearly at Ε.Δ.Ω.
• No particular skills are necessary, should you wish to attend to a workshop, unless stated otherwise.
• All necessary tools and materials are provided by Ε.Δ.Ω.
• Workshop fee is 200€.

ΦΩΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΑ: ΑΥΤΟΣΧΕΔΙΑ ΚΑΜΕΡΑ “PINHOLE”

Σκοπός του νέου αυτού εργαστηρίου είναι η απόκτηση χειροπιαστής εμπειρίας γύρω από τις συναρπαστικές ιδιότητες του φωτός.
Κατά τη διάρκεια των πρώτων συναντήσεων, ο κάθε μαθητής θα κατασκευάσει από το μηδέν τη δική του κάμερα pinhole και θα εξοικειωθεί με τη λειτουργία της. Όταν οι αυτοσχέδιες κάμερες τελειοποιηθούν και λειτουργήσουν, οι συμμετέχοντες θα πειραματιστούν με αυτές και θα κληθούν να ολοκληρώσουν μικρές φωτογραφικές ασκήσεις/εργασίες χρησιμοποιώντας φίλμ 35mm της αρεσκείας τους.
Το εργαστήριο θα λήξει με τη δημιουργία μιας camera obscura μεγέθους δωματίου.

Στο εργαστήριο αυτό είναι ευπρόσδεκτα όλα τα επίπεδα φωτογραφικής εμπειρίας.
